It's a great product, easy to setup and works great. Only thing I would like is if it was a bit smaller. :)
I bought the WH51 soil moisture sensor for a lily I have that was looking very sorry for itself until I discovered its soil had to be kept very moist but not waterlogged. The WH51 sensor is very effective at helping me to keep the soil moisture just right and reads ~40% when the soil is at optimum moisture.
The sensor is easy to set up: just insert 1x AA battery (not provided), screw the battery cover on, push the two waterproof caps on (provided). The WH51 sensor was easily and quickly detected and displayed (providing it is within range of course) by my HP2550 console, but unlike say the WH31 temperature & humidity sensors, there are no dip switches to set the WH51 channel number. I guess the console distinguishes between different WH51 sensors by using the hexadecimal 'serial number' of each sensor as a reference.
The sensor easily hides itself among the plant leaves (see attached picture) and after just a week the plant is already looking much healthier.
Recommended for anyone who has a plant with sensitive watering needs.
